Where are you going to live in Colorado???

Lisa and I have traveled all over Northern Colorado looking at and praying over dozens of communities seeking God’s choice for the place where we are called to plant a church.  After narrowing the choices down to a handful of communities, our sense of the right place to plant was confirmed by our Vision Team.

We are convinced that God has called us to plant a new church in Mead, CO.  Mead is about halfway between Longmont to the south and Loveland to the north.  It is a mile or two to the west of I-25 which is the major North/South freeway in Colorado which connects Fort Collins to the north and Colorado Springs to the south, with Denver in between.

According to our studies, there are almost 11,000 people living within a 5 mile radius of Mead Town Hall.  Within that circle there is a small Catholic Church, a small Methodist Church (with a part-time minister who lives in another town) and a small Evangelical Free Church church plant.  From everything we have been able to gather so far, NO ONE is being intentional about trying to reach the unchurched masses in Mead!  With God’s enablement and your help, we intend to change that!

God has already led us to some local people who are open to studying the Bible with us!  Will you partner with us so we can get to Mead as soon as possible?
